Permissions Information & Requests top
All requests to copy or reprint from our publications must be submitted in writing by fax, email, or postal service.
For copy requests (e.g., making copies for classroom use, the inclusion of our material in PowerPoint presentations and printing handouts for workshops, etc.), please provide the name and author of our publication, the pages/excerpt you wish to use, the number of copies you wish you make, and a brief description of your intent with the material.
For reprint requests (e.g., reprinting an excerpt in another book, periodical, or on a website), please provide the name and author of our publication, the exact excerpt you wish to use, a brief description of your publication, and an estimate of how many copies will be made (print run, readership, etc).
Permission requests are processed in the order they are received. Please allow at least two weeks for copy requests and four weeks for reprint requests.
Temple Grandin Award Nominations top
Future Horizons awards money annually through the Temple Grandin Award to persons diagnosed with autism or Asperger’s Syndrome who have made individual achievements of any kind. The grand prize of the Temple Grandin Award is given to two individuals (one with autism; one with Asperger’s) who have made a major accomplishment in the past year, although any accomplishment is worthy of nomination and every nominee is a winner.
How to Nominate: Nominations should be no more than two pages in length, with accompanying pictures, exhibits, and other relevant information. Nominations must be received by December 31.

Carol Gray Award Nominations top
This award is for special education teachers who have made an outstanding contribution to the lives of children with autism or Asperger’s Syndrome.
How to nominate: Any parent or fellow teacher can nominate someone by submitting the nomination in writing not to exceed two pages, with as many exhibits as necessary to make the case for the nominee. Nominations must be received by March 31. There are cash awards mounting to thousands of dollars for the winners. The awards may be used for educational or personal needs of those who receive awards.
